We are proud to be an inclusive school. This is a value which is shared by all of our St Giles' communiuty.
We believe that all children are unique and we endorse the principle that they are entitled to teaching and support which will maximise their abilities and sense of personal worth.
To this end we aim to identify, to the best of our ability, those areas where individual children have special needs and/or disabilities and to provide for them appropriately.
The school welcomes children with special needs and/or disabilities and is committed to their inclusion in all aspects of school life wherever possible.
Mrs Rebecca Watt is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) at St.Giles CofE Primary School. Mrs Watt works closely with each of the class teachers and teaching assistants to organise programmes of support for individual children and groups.
If you would like to talk about your child's special educational needs then please contact the school office, either by telephone 01707 642170 or email email@example.com to make an appointment.
