St Giles Curriculum Intent
Our curriculum intent is to provide an innovative, broad and balanced curriculum that stimulates interest and enjoyment for all through Christian teachings and beliefs- which enable children to: 'Learn, Grow, Flourish'.
Our curriculum supports children to persevere, be happy, engaged, kind, respectful, courageous and honest towards all members of the school community and wider society.
Pupils are taught a range of knowledge and skills and provided with the cultural capital to ensure they have a firm foundation to be successful in an ever-changing society.
Knowledge and skills are taught and consolidated in such a way that children are fluent and flexible in their approaches and in applying their learning in a variety of contexts.
Therefore, whatever their life goals are, they will be equipped to succeed in all areas of life both in, and beyond, the classroom.
