Hello and welcome to St Giles!
My name is Mr Sal and I am the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). I am a qualified teacher with an out-of-class role here at St Giles. You will find me here two days a week, usually on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I work with all of the staff here to improve outcomes for your child. I will help you with matters specific to SEND and look forward to a positive partnership working with you in support of your child.
If you are a parent of a child with Special Educational Needs and / or Disability (SEND) please look out for our Coffee Mornings which take place every half-term. You will receive a flyer about this nearer the time.
Where can I find more information about SEND on this website?
- Click ‘Statutory Information’ at the top of the home page and scroll down to SEN on the right hand, where you will find
- Accessibility Plan
- SEND Information Report
- School Autism Approach
- Inclusion & SEND Policy
- A link to ‘HAND’
- A link to the ‘HERTS LOCAL OFFER’ which includes services available in Hertfordshire
- SEND Duty Lines Flyer Dec 2020
I hope your child will be happy here at St Giles and will indeed learn, grow and flourish!
Best wishes,
Salim Muoria-Sal (Mr Sal)
