We value close working relationships with parents and the wider community.
Formal reporting to parents is done through Parent Consultations Evenings which are held in the Autumn and Spring Terms and annual year end reports which are normally sent out in July together with Key Stage test results.
Parents are always welcome to see their class teacher by prior arrangement at any time through the year. The partnership between school and home is very important to us in supporting children to achieve their full potential.
We are fortunate to have parent helpers in school who assist with a variety of tasks such as hearing readers, helping with art, generally supporting in class and on trips Such help is always very welcome, if you feel you have a little time to spare please do not hesitate to speak to any member of staff.
Our school is fortunate to have a vibrant parents group, The Friends of St Giles’ who do much to support all the children at St Giles by raising funds for special projects. Amongst other things they have funded much of our ICT provision both hardware and software and bought resources for all curriculum areas which enrich and extend the facilities we are able to use to support learning.
Covid-19 Response Documents – including Risk Assessments, Catch Up Premium Funding and our Remote Learning Offer
