Cecil (Class 4)
Young Voices 2022
Welcome to Cecil Class!
Cecil Class have been working so hard this half-term! Jayson and Josh E were the victors in the Knex challenge and most of the class showed exceptional hard work and focus during this challenge.
We have been learning about the play Macbeth, by William Shakespeare. The children are loving the mystery and drama, and Mrs Jackson and Mrs Dowdall have seen some fantastic writing. Next week we are going to rewrite the stories in our own words.
We also kicked off our Geography topic of Rivers by organising pictures of a river into order, from source to mouth. This wasn't as easy as it seemed, as many parts of the river are very similar!
We have also been thinking about the Stations of the Cross as we consider who was really responsible for Jesus' death and why Jesus died.
Our Trip to Parliament
We started our Mini Police project that will continue into the Summer term this week, by learning about the jobs a PCSO and Detective Sergeant have and the equipment they used. It was great and we can't wait for our second lesson!
